When to change the a toddler bed

Question

Ok so I want to change my daughters cot into a toddlers bed she is almost 19 months old and she gets her legs really stuck between the bars but my partner keeps saying no not yet what do you think?

i changed my son to a toddler bed when he was 10 months old. Its just his crib with side taken off and i use one of those mesh sides instead of the conversion kit. He never had a problem and he always stayed in his bed all night. He knows how to get in and out of his bed. Hes now 18 months and still doing fine

My daughter was in a regular twin size bed at 1 years old

We bought my son a toddler bed at 11mos. He's doing great in it! It was a bit of a transition from cosleeping with me to sleeping in his room in his own bed but he's almost STTN every night in it now.

My daughter is just now 15m and she's already out of crib and is sooo good! I think it's always worth a shot!

I say you can always try I did my 1st at 18 months and never went back

My son is 22 months and he's still in crib. .until he tries climbing out in leaving it lol esp with a baby coming

We converted crib to a toddler bed when my daughter started climbing out of her crib. She was 21 months. We were terrified that she hurt herself on the drop! Weird thing is that she never tried to get out of her toddler bed at night after we made the switch. 😄
