Hook effect?

Morning guys,

Have any of you experienced the 'hook effect'? My hpt's have been really strong, have fracked them. Got strong ones since 3 weeks 1 day post AF. Got 3+ clearblu at 4w2d. I tested today but both lines are lighter than before, even the control line. Is it true that this could be because my hcg levels are too high?

What's clear to me is you really have to stop testing.

You cannot compare between tests only relative to the control line on that test.  If you are equal in darkness to the control that should be about as dark as you can get on that test.

Its same thing for me.in morning i had  big positive line and the next morning the line was more lighty.sometime dark sometime light i dont understand

This was after I'd drunk two glasses of water. I think there might be some truth in the 'hook effect' that hcg can be too high for some tests? What do you think?x
