Bestfriend advice!

So me and my bestfriend have been going strong for over 4 years and she has just ended our friendship because she doesn't like my boyfriend (who I live with) they both mean a lot to me and it destroyed me losing her but all I can think is obviously she isn't a good friend because she ended our friendship over my bf. Did I make the right decisions letting it end and choosing my boyfriend, or was it the stupidest decision to choose a guy over a bestfriend...
