If anyone actually wants some info it's called "otherkin" when someone feels that they are a different species. It's been around for awhile, and as far as I'm concerned if it isn't hurting anyone it isn't my business. This person comes off as sarcastic and ridiculous, but if they genuinely thought they were a unicorn than whatever do as you will with yourself. Shod your hands and feet and comb your mane I don't care. 
Let's also remember that trans and LGBT+ PEOPLE still want to be PEOPLE. NOT the lesser humans that they are treated as. It's not like they're making that drastic of a freaking plea to be treated like everyone else who is straight and cisgendered.

No, that's not a thing I don't think. Gender identity IS a thing and to a certain extent you can "choose" where you identify on the spectrum. But unicorn is not a gender and it just makes everyone look like an idiot when people say shit like that.

I've heard that the O'Rieley factor finds people to say stuff like this on purpose. I'm not sure if that's true or not but I definitely wouldn't be surprised if they did. I won't get any news from that man.
