Stevia and natural contraceptive?

Has anybody ever heard of stevia being a natural contraceptive? Someone posted on a fb group I belong to about her struggles with trying to conceive. Someone responded to her post about using stevia and that it was a natural contraceptive and she said she uses it every day. I use stevia every day in my coffee too. We have been trying for a few months. We got pregnant right away with my first and this time it's taking a bit longer. I know people try for years to conceive and I've only been trying for a few months so I'm not complaining or necessarily worried yet but just curious if anybody else has heard of this before?

I don't know for certain, but I couldn't get pregnant while using it. When I stopped, we got pregnant pretty quickly (about 6 weeks). Correlation is not causation, but if you aren't getting pregnant, I'd consider not using it and see if it helps.

If it's estrogenic then in can absolutely affect your hormones and throw your fertility (and ability to carry pregnancies) out of what if you consume it too much. Same goes for soy products.

Looks like there's some solid correlation. 50% effective as
Birth control as cited in one study. I wouldn't rely on that as a solid method for avoiding pregnancy, but yeah.
