Checking cervix???

Anyone else have spotting and cramping after getting their cervix checked?

Yes hun, totally normal. I'm surprised your doctor didn't warn you about that and explain why it happens after she checked you, because I would have been super concerned too.

Yes it is normal. I had it my first cervical check but it hasn't happen since and I've been checked just about every visit because I am high risk.

I did my midwife said its totally normal because it may be slightly irritated after a check

I did, I had my doctor check me at 32 weeks because I was flying and wanted to be sure I wasn't going to go into labor. I had heard about cramping and spotting, but I thought it would be sort of immediate. Cramping came right away but I didn't spot until like 3 days later. Totally freaked me out. 36 weeks 4 days now, totally fine.

Totally normal! Usually your nurse or doctor will tell you to expect this. If having more than just spotting then I'd call and let your provider know.
