I think brushing is good enough until they can do it on their own

Children really don't need to floss until they are  8 or 9  because it can damage their gums. This is what I was told by my pediatric dentist.

Our pediatric dentist just told us brush once daily until a year, then twice daily for them until the child can tie their own shoes. At that point, they have the dexterity to brush their own teeth and can start using floss picks.

I think my son was two when I started, only his front teeth, and that's because his dentist told me it was okay. I've been taking him since he was one, to get him use to going.

No flossing. Their teeth aren't jammed together like adult teeth so there is no point in it basically.

Our dentist told us to floss the teeth that touch especially if we see food. We started around 2.5 because he loves to eat grilled chicken and always has it stuck between his teeth. Just have to be very gentle you don't cut their gums. But important to do if you can't brush out the food particles.

I don't think my mom had my brother flossing until he was old enough to do it himself. That's what we do idk what you're technically supposed to do
