What in the world do I pack for the hospital? I'm completely lost on this one, and Pinterest lists everything but the kitchen sink!!!

Don't worry about it too much. I had an emergency c section -- had my hubby go get toiletries and a comfy outfit for going home... Hospital has everything you need! Stock up on the freebies!

This is a list from the pampers website. You won't need all those diapers since the hospital supplies them, but packing a couple just for peace of mind is a good idea.

I plan on bringing a bath towel (I hear the ones they provide for showers SUCK), fuzzy socks and slippers, nursing bra, comfortable clothes to go home in (probably a big maternity shirt and sweat pants...I don't need to look pretty), night gown, maybe a robe, a couple pairs of underwear, camera, a little bit of makeup, and a pillow (again I hear the hospital ones suck).

I'll also bring a few things for the baby - an outfit in newborn size and one in 0-3 months size and a swaddling blanket.

You don't need much, hospital has most everything you need. Last time a couple things that were great to have were the boppy for breastfeeding, cozy socks and slippers, super comfy yoga pants - the kind you wear pregnant because you'll still have a belly, and your own pillow is so nice to have too.

I plan to bring my diaper bag (is not triditional I'll post a pic) with just an outfit or two for the baby and a cute blanket ) for myself I'll bring one set of pajamas I feel comfortable in, nursing bra and pads and a going home outfit, eyeliner and mascara, toiletries, Chargers for tablet and phone. Slippers and a sweater depending on the weather. My son gets a big brother bag with an outfit and toys and activities even though his nanny will have him mostly at night unless my SO says other wise. And my SO will have clothes and toiletries and his charger. Possibly his xbox (yea I know 😂) I think that's it.
