In my Women's Rights Class I've been given an assignment to give a presentation on the rights of pregnant women in prison. When given this assignment I have never thought much about it. While doing some research, I found that there is more women that have given birth in prison then I thought. Many have had to give up their child within the first 48 hours of birth. (Some never being able to hold their child.) I have not had the pleasure of being a mom yet. With that being said, I want the hear your thoughts on the issue.
