Pregnant nurses?

Nancy
Perks of being a nurse...floated to the ER and confirmed my home pregnancy test 💞 BFP
My first pregnancy was a miscarriage at 6weeks.👼🏼 So I'm really praying for this pregnancy. 🙏🏻I am currently 6wks and due October 4th. Have not told my husband yet...waiting for Valentine's Day to make it a sweeter surprise ❤️
*Question...???
So, I really love my career and would not trade it for anything in the world. But being pregnant and working with critically ill patients has me low key freaking out! I can't help but imagine all the things I'm exposing my baby 😁 I always use PPE & gloves but still! I'm trying really hard not to overwhelm myself but it's really hard not to think about it. Specially since we just had two patients pass with really bizarre & unknown causes of death! 😰 Does anyone else get worked up about this issue like I do & what do you do to avoid these thoughts? 😷💉
