Measuring big but dates are back?

Question

So I had my scan last Thursday and baby measured 9.6cm

Yet my dates are 17th August not 15th liked predicted.

Anyone else?

P.s this makes me 13 weeks exactly today.

When I switched from Glow to Nuture (and imported all my data) my EDD was 7/30... The dr said I was due
8/3.  I was irritated because I potentially logged every detail of my life into Glow so I felt it was a better predictor. Well low and behold at my last ultrasound (I'm now 15 wks) the last days oh, baby is measuring 5 days ahead of schedule... Which puts me exactly where Glow had me to begin with. They won't change my due date though 😒

I went from July 28th to Aug 17th sooooo it's not abnormal at all!!!! Be happy you only lost a few days

It's just
Odd that a lot of pregnancy apps state that a 'baby' around now is around 6cm.... Whereas mine is measuring as of last Thursday 10cm... That's what I cannot get 😂

I had a ultrasound and measured a week ahead of my due date. I am a high risk pregnancy so I had a few early ultrasounds. Dr said when we spoke yesterday that my earlier ultrasounds are most accurate baby could just be growing bigger quicker. She said my dates won't change.

It all depends on when you ovulated and when bub implanted! Being out by a couple of days is completely normal.

In saying this bub might never measure up to your original dates as after 12 weeks all babies develop at different rates..... That's why they measure a few things ie. Skull, crown to rump, bones etc so they can get an average xx
