My son is currently not in the best state right now. The placenta isn't filtering like it needs to causing him to have to work twice as hard to pump blood to his self. Every appointment I go to the umbilical cord is elevated. I was transferred to another cities hospital because the hospital I go to is on a army base and they don't deliver babies less then 28 weeks and they were preparing me to deliver at 23 😢😢! Luckily I was monitored and got to keep him in, my son is such a active baby and with all this worry his kicks everyday get my through this tough time. I'm currently 24 weeks and 3 days and he's barely reached a pound and is considered in the 2% of small baby's. My doctor sees me delivering as early as 28 weeks and as late as 32. Honestly am a walking wreck, I just don't want him to feel it so I try and stay positive. I had a friend who had her baby at 1 pound and she's doing great but I'd love to hear more stories.
