Excessive sleepiness

Has anyone ever been to the doctor for excessive sleepiness? For the past several years I've been experiencing this and no matter what I do, I can't get rid of this constant sleepiness and tiredness. I also get fatigued really quick when I try to do things around the house. Has anyone ever experienced this? I would like some tips on how to deal with this.
