How long did you try for before seeing a doctor to determine infertility?

I think most doctors recommend trying for a year before treatment unless you're older or have some kind of history that may affect fertility.

My friend tried for over 15 months. Suffered 3 early miscarriages in that time as well. I think she was embarrassed to go. I always reassured her that there a nothing wrong with getting help! Finally at 15 months she made an appointment at shady grove fertility center to start testing. Turns out the entire time she had a hormonal imbalance and that's what caused the early miscarriages the times she sis get pregnant, and the times she didn't get pregnant they suspect she wasn't even ovulating properly. They told her it was an "easy fix," put her on some hormone medicine in the form of a pill and the next month she got pregnant! Now she's 9 weeks pregnant which is the furthest she's gotten so far 😊
