Hi all - it's my husband's birthday this weekend and I'm looking for a first time dad gift idea. We've been trying to limit gifting to save everything for baby (10 weeks from today!) and I would still like to give him something since it is also Valentine's Day (ahh). Any fun, creative ideas that might also be useful for his new role as dad?! Thank you!

My husband's birthday was yesterday and his parents bought him a really nice video baby monitor. My husband is really into tech stuff, so he looooved being able to fiddle around with it last night. He really enjoyed getting something for the baby since I'm the one who's gotten all the baby gifts so far.

You could do a daddy changing tool box. Pinterest has great ideas for this kind of thing.! Its mostly funny but has practical purposes too😋 or... You could make a special date night with maybe some sparkling juice popcorn his favorite candy an a new movie! 😊

My husband got a backpack diaper bag in blue camo from my parents that says "I'm the daddy". They have a whole website.

I got my fiancé a bunch of books about Dad and baby. We're really into having a lot of books and reading to baby, so it seemed perfect. I love the tool box idea though, and will totally use that for the future.

I don't know how useful but this is for baby too...but all over Pintetest and Etsy I see cute matching dad and baby shirts. Mostly geared for father and son (I was looking because we are having a boy) but some can be for either gender! Like a shirt for dad that says "Papa Bear" and a onsie for baby that says "Baby Bear". They're cute. Can get expensive on Etsy depending on your budget but if you're crafty it can be done for cheap. Just an idea :)
