Went to the doctor yesterday because my period was 16 days late and I haven't felt like myself. Well the test was negative.:/ but the doctor came in and instead of staying in the room she took me to her office. She had looked at all of my charts and informed me that I have PCOS along with my endometriosis. I was told that because I have had this for at least 6 years and it had gone untreated I may not be able to have kids. They plan to start me on metformin on the 29th to hopefully help my periods regulate and to help my ovulation. Even then the doctor said that may not work.. I'm so lost as to what I'm supposed to even think. I've never heard of pcos so what all do you guys know about it and pregnancy. I really want to be able to have a baby and make a family.
