I am 23w3d and have been having a sore lower and mid back my whole pregnancy. A little while ago I was sitting on the floor with one of my students and when I tried to get up, I had severe pain in my lower back and butt area. I think it's my sciatic nerve. I can hardly walk and can't move back into a sitting position, all I can do is stand. I also can't lift my leg up on that side. Anyone had this before? I have a Dr. Appt this afternoon so I'll talk to them later today but just wondering if anyone has advice for the meantime because I need to make it through the rest of the day.
