What's some good Birth Control methods besides the Pill?

I've been on the pill and I want to try something new. What's some good Birth Control methods and list the pros and cons :)

If you aren't trying to get pregnant I would say the rod. It lasts 3 years and I believe it's up there in preventing pregnancy.

Depo Provera shot: only pro was that I didn't get pregnant. Cons: increased appetite, lots of bleeding the first few months and osteoporosis that wasn't diagnosed until I broke my hip at 28.

If I was on birth control I think I'd try out the vaginal ring.

Patches!!! I love using patches. I did try the pill and the Depo shot and niether worked for me. I couldn't remember to take my pull everyday so I got an ovarian cyst. Then I switched to the shot and bled for two and a half months straight every period. Because of this, I'm now being tested for PCOS, Ovarian Cancer, diabetes, and thyroid. Finally I got to the patch and its so wonderful. I have not had any problems so far. I honestly recommend it to all my friends who ask about birth control.

I tried the Nexplanon. Pros: lasts three years Cons: made me bled 7 months straight out of the 1.5 years I had it in. Causes acne, and rage lol. I got it taken out early because of the irregular bleeding.

On the other hand, my sister got hers put in about a month later and doesn't ever have a period and loves it!! Lucky b... Haha

Also the patch which honestly had too much estrogen for me, made me nauseous. But it works well for a lot of ladies. Once a week you change it on your skin in different spots.
