Baby clothes. Machine wash hot or cold?

Hi Ladies, I'm a FTM and I've heard a lot of women say only use hot water when washing baby's clothes, but the tags say machine wash cold? What should I do? These are brand new clothes and blankets.

Milk (and therefore baby vomit) has protein in it, so cold wash only, otherwise you can cook the stains into their clothing.

Cold cycle! I only use hot water to wash my towels & bleachable whites.

Use cold water to wash any clothing, bedding, etc. The cold water instantly kills the germs and nastiness, and it doesn't fade your clothes either

Colors cold. Whites warm/hot. Baby clothes I've always treated like regular clothes and have never had an issue.  If you're child has sensitive skin then you want to look at the detergent you are using.

I tend to look at the label for the laundering instructions, not every garment has the same ones.

Go low the washing instructions on the clothing item. I always wash in cold water. Prevents shrinking and colour running and fading. Hot also breaks down the fabric material faster so it can get tears easier.

I use cold to wash anything. Clothes, towels, curtains, ... I've never had any issues. The only reason I ever use hot is to clean the machine.
