Labor and delivery??

Question

My contractions are 4 mins apart for the past hr so I call L&D and they ask if my water broke told them no. They said that I need to wait til 7am for them to open up but if my water breaks before then, I can go in. Is this right? I just thought if the contractions are consistent for an hr then you need to go in.

Yes that's right you need to break your bag of water to be really in active labor contractions can be 2-10 mins and still no water breaking your fine but must call the dr.. 
Just keep an eye out for bloody show and water breaking.. Contractions help you dialate and push that plug out and him or her..
