Braxton hicks?

I'm 26 weeks and get about 4 or 5 of these a day. They're are unconfortable and they last about 30 seconds. is this an okay amount?

I have about 3-7 a day. I am currently 23 weeks they started early in my 2nd trimester.

My dr said drink 32 oz of water within 5 minutes upon having one. I try to drink about a gallon (64oz) of water a day.

Good luck momma! They are uncomfortable. When one starts to come on I can feel it in my chest too. Like it's harder to breath and my heart rate quickens.

I believe the rule is 4 or more in one hour, call your doctor. 4-5 a day isn't something to be concerned about. Obviously if they get longer, stronger, closer together, etc. then call your doctor. Other than that, just make sure to drink lots of water. Dehydration can cause contractions!

Anything less then 8 is fine, more then that contact your OB or midwife. Otherwise just mention the frequency of Braxton hicks at your next appointment.
