Announcements?!?!?

Hello October to be mamas! 
I am expecting October 2nd! Very excited to share the news of my new family me never, but can't decide when the right time in my pregnancy to tell all is! This is baby #1! 
When are you all planning to announce? Any great ideas in mind as to how?! Would love to hear all of your ideas🙃🙃

I steamed open a fortune cookie and placed our own inside when we told my parents during our family's Chinese New Year celebration on Sunday. Not sure what we will do yet when we announce to our friends and extended family.

We told all our close family at 4 weeks and we told our closest friends between 4 and 5 weeks. We will announce to the world around 10 weeks most likely.

I told my co workers right away ( I do radiographs at work) so I can't really hide it😞 I told my best friend in Georgia right after we found out.  We are driving to Pennsylvania to tell both of our parents, our grandparents, and my 2 best friends.  We will tell everyone else after 12 weeks most likely.

I'll be four weeks tomorrow, and haven't told anyone. Waiting to surpise my husband around 6 weeks, paranoia from my last MC is why I'm waiting. Will wait till after my first ultrasound to tell parents, and than after we find out the gender we will announce it to everyone else.

We live overseas but are seeing our parents in a week, we are waiting to tell them face to face. I had these onsies made to send to loved ones back home. I can't wait to tell family and close friends, but I won't "announce it" to everyone else until 12 weeks. Good luck!

We told our parents at 4 weeks, I am 6w1d today. We will tell close friends at 8 weeks and make it public at 12weeks. Our thinking is, if something does happen we would want to tell family and close friends anyway. And it's much easier for them to already know if anything does happen. I have had a little bleeding for the past week (levels in blood test are going well so doctor for now isn't too worried), and we will still be telling friends at 8w.
To tell our family we had four little boxes each with a wooden letter spelling b a b y
Gave one box each then sat back and watched them politely say 'thank you, how nice...' Whilst having no idea why we had given them a random letter. It was hilarious when they finally figured it out! 😂

This is our first baby and my first pregnancy ever so we told everyone when we found out. May have been early but that's what we did. We told our parents but we posted this to everyone else.

I'm due October 3rd. I'll be announcing at 17 weeks which is also my 21st birthday. ☺️
