I am currently 6 weeks and 1 day pregnant with our second child. I woke up this morning bleeding quite a bit and cramping. After going to the ER we have found that the baby is still there and his/her heart is still beating. My doctor says that's a good sign and that some women do bleed during their first trimester or even throughout their pregnancy. I am on strict bedrest until the bleeding stops and go to my doctor first thing Monday morning to check on the baby. I'm scared to death about losing my baby. Has any one experienced this at all??
