Signs of labor?

Question

I'm 38 weeks and 2 days and for the past two days I've been feeling irregular contractions... Today I had several in the morning and two in the afternoon... Baby is moving so much! I did number 2 a few times.. Are those signs that labor is getting close? Did anyone feel those things?
PS: at this week's appointment i was 2cm dilated

I'm in the same boat having irregular contractions for a week. Last Tuesday at the doctor I was 3cm already but baby was high..I don't know what to think or feel at this point. I guess just stay patient until something that is "obvious labor" happens...kinda frustrating:/

I was 38 +4 and for 2 days prior to my water breaking, I was going number 2 at least twice-three times a day and having irregular contractions, I was 2cm too. Then my water just broke on its own on 2/10 and Cam was born on 2/11 at 1:51am.

Update for me... Went in th l&d they did a nst ... Baby was happy and bouncing but as far as my "contractions" they were just bh ... The dr said I can expect them to be 100x worse.... I'm so not looking forward to this anymore... I thought I was in pain earlier ... Fml

38+5 weeks. 2 cm and 50% effaced as of this past Thursday. Real nauseous all day long. Braxton hicks. I bounced on a birthing ball tonight for awhile and now I'm cramping...back pain...hoping something will start!

Yes, I'm saying this because I had the same thing happen to me. For 3 days I was told I was having Braxton hicks and on the fourth day I was admitted to the hospital for being 5cm. You know your body... Labor is coming! 😊

Update: i had fewer, but longer and more painful contractions yesterday and today... Tomorrow I'm gonna talk to the doctor.. Just having a huge insomnia... Good luck to all of us ..

Update: I'm tired and worried... Second morning without baby moving as usual, but last night she was kicking me hard... At least it was the first night without contractions... I hope that's a good sign...

I'm in the same boat! 3cm at my last apt, lost the mucus plug yesterday and have been having contractions that are close together for 2 hours but then they stop for a few hours .... So annoying, I feel like until my water breaks I won't know when to go to the hospital...

Update: I went to the doctor's and... Nothing changed!!! He told me the only thing I can do is wait... If in two weeks she's not here, we are gonna talk about induction...

Arghhhh I can't wait anymore! My anxiety levels are high, I can't sleep...
