Just wondering what you guys think about spanking?

I don't mean abuse.. I mean your kid misbehaves and you spank his but or smack his hand doing something bad... I'm completely for it. I got spanked as a kid and I'm going to spanking my kid as well. I don't really care if you guys think I'm horrible I'm just wondering where you guys stand. Do you spank? Why or why not.. I don't want my child growing up thinking he /her can get away with anything. From my experience time out doesn't work.... How about you?
