I just found out that my bf of five years is gay... I'm happy for him and I support him but Idk how to feel about me...I'm sad but torn. I'm not sure 😩😰

I hate how being a minority means you HAVE to be support even if they were a shitty person. Being gay does not get him a get out of jail free card for using you, manipulating your feelings, lying to you face, and wasting 5 years of your life .

You're strong for supporting him, butunderstandably  you need time to heal too, and that's okay. 
I wouldn't think of those years as waste or in the trash. Something kept you together. You've, without realizing it, probably learned a lot and have grown a lot within that time. Take the time you need to recover and then you can move on and set your sights on someone with the qualities you loved, or who doesn't have the qualities you disliked, from this relationship. 
You have five years of experience under your belt and I'm sure you'll be able to spot a keeper when you meet him:). Best of luck hun

I just want to address the "he used you!!" Theory here. 
Coming to terms with your sexuality is a long and hard process. Figuring out your identity and preferences isn't some magic sudden thing. 
I can't speak for OP. He might have been using her. However it's far more likely he didn't know, or was in denial of his sexuality. Accepting yourself is a long hard road, do not be so quick to judge people on their paths.

I'm sorry but I don't think I could ever be supportive of him. You just wasted 5 years of your life with a guy that most likely knew from the beginning that he was never going to fully commit to you. Personally I would be pretty pissed!
