My birth story ☺️

Riss
At 40 weeks exactly I started having minor contractions around 2:30pm. They were around 30 mins apart and slowly progressed to around 7-10 mins apart by 6-8pm. I called my doc and he said if they go to 5-7 mins apart to go to L&D. I took a shower and they were around 5.5 mins so my husband and I went in. I got checked and was only at 3 cm. They sent me home and said to come back when my contractions get super intense and are closer together. As soon as we got home I hopped into bed and got the most intense contraction ever. It was pretty unbearable I must say. I then had another 3 mins later and knew I had to go back. We got back to the hospital by 12:30 I was 4 cm and they admitted me. I got an epidural right away and it helped a lot but wore off one side a few hours into labor so they had to readjust it. By 2:30 pm it was time to start pushing. I had my little guy at 4:42 pm on 2-11-16. He was 7lbs 13oz 22.5 inches and absolutely perfect in every way. It was definitely the toughest thing I've ever done, but so worth it in the end. We are so blessed!
