So this is what happened I'm driving along doing the speed limit and a cat runs across the road I slam on my brakes the cat gets scared and freezes and I hit the cat I jumped out the car and took the car staight to the vet, once I got there I called the owners (phone on collar) and advised them what happened I waited for the owners and then the conversation came to me paying For the cats surgery. The cat thankfully survived and is doing great but although it is terrible what happened am I the one who has to pay for surgery?
