Issues Try to conceive?

For those out there TTC have you found that it has been harder for you to conceive because of the age gaps you and your significant other have? Could be for any reason.... Just trying to start a discussion...

I am trying to conceive since 5 months. I know that isn't too much time, but still, I always feel devastated when I get my period every month. We just got our Test results...thyroid hormones, Follicular and Luteal Phases hormones, Hepatitis,  Clamidia, HIV and the Semen Analysis. Everything is fine...values like in a laboratory book...but I'm still no pregnant and my Doctor doesn't know why. He diagnostic me with unexplained infertility. Next month I am doing a Diagnostic Hysteroscopy (It allows the diagnosis of intrauterine pathology like uterine fibroids) and Diagnostic Laparoscopy (It allows the diagnosis of endometriosis, ovarian cysts and closed Fallopian Tubes...to see if my Fallopian Tubes are open they will injected a blue dye). If everything is fine then we will wait 6 more months to try to conceive naturally. If after a year I'm still not pregnant, we will do the IUI. In the contrary, if my Fallopian Tubes are closed there isn't nothing else to do as IVF. Let's hope for the best! We need to relax (easy said as done?) and have lots of patience and love.? ?

Yay! Zuleika, thank you for starting this. At first I thought my husband could possibly be the reason I wasn't able to get pregnant due to his age. Me being a young woman a in my twenties and him being a middle aged man. Well, we were both analyzed and it was me. Unexplained infertility was the final answer! By the way I do have a son from previous so it beats me! Been TTC second child for 4 yrs.
