So... I feel a little stupid, but my fiancé has really irritated me tonight. We've been together three years, and this is our 3rd Valentine's Day. For the past two years, I've done all of the planning. Where we would eat, what we would do... So this year, I decided to let him plan something for once (stupid me), well tonight, I took our son to my mothers to stay the night (bless her heart for offering to keep him so we could celebrate tonight), and my fiancé decided to go play basketball with some friends, saying he'll only go for a couple hours, make it back at a decent time and we could spend some time together. Well 4 hours later, he comes home, takes a shower and starts playing video games. At this point, he can visibly see me getting frustrated, so he brings up Vday, and asks me "What do you have planned tomorrow?" I wanted to back hand him so bad. So now I'm upstairs pretending I'm trying to sleep and he's still playing video games. But I just wanted to vent because I know I'm upset for a stupid reason, I just wish he would plan something sweet and romantic for once. 🙄🙄🙄
