Is it okay he is playing video games on V-Day?

My boyfriend and I are long distance we see each other maybe once a month we already saw each other this month and so we're not together on Valentines Day and he's sitting at home playing video games do you think that that's okay because I'm really upset about it and he told me that I shouldn't be.
