A few weeks ago, my husband and I set a budget for Valentine's Day and gave suggestions of things we'd like the other person to get for us. I was so excited I got some gifts for him that week. A few days after that, my husband gave me some other ideas but I told him I'd already bought his gift. I was so excited to see what he chose and hear about when he bought it etc. I woke up today to a sweet love letter and an origami flower. I thought, okay, he must be waiting to surprise me with the gift. After lunch, I was kinda sick of waiting so I asked him, did you forget about my gift? (I'd already given him a love letter and his gifts) He said he forgot what I had asked for and didn't want to ask me for a reminder, so he didn't buy me anything. I'm feeling annoyed and kinda crummy that we talked about it and he dropped the ball. Give me the damn money back so I can buy tons of clearance chocolate tomorrow! #amiright
