How often should mean release sperm? Lol

I normally pleasure my husband towards the end of my period so by the time my fertile window comes there's fresh sperm. I'm cd 7 and took care of him this morning and I plan on starting bding cd10. Please comment if this is a good plan, like is it okay to wait until cd10
