11 weeks pregnant and I almost fainted

I'm 11 weeks pregnant and I almost fainted outside of walmart. People stopped and got me a drink but I had tunnel vision and I was sweating and out of breath. It was so scary, I called the doctor and they said it was probably hypoglycemia and I need to keep sugar on me. Just wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else.
