Do you think virginity should be kept marriage?

Hi ladies...
I'm really confused and don't know what to do! In the place where I live virginity is a taboo and it is believed that a girl must be virgin when she is single. Of course about %30 of society believe that it is just a bulshit and they can do what they want. I just want to know your opinion. What do you think? Do you think virginity should be kept until marriage or lovers can be free? If you have any experience or regret about losing it I will be happy to listen.

I feel like I can't vote yes or no because I believe it's individual decision. Some people want to wait until marriage and I thinks that great and some people don't want to wait and that's great. It's your body and it's up to you.

If you are a virgin I would recommend waiting. That's is the greatest gift you can give a husband and yourself. People these days say that's old fashion. But honestly that's why people get so bored being married you've already done everything married people do live together, sex and even have children. What's new when you do it before marriage. I will be honest I didn't wait my virginity was taken away by force. I wish I could've waited but things happen. But it's something to think about. The world will do what the world does. But your body is your choice.

Choosing to be abstinent is like choosing to be vegan. It OK if you choose this, and it's OK if you don't. But which ever you choose, it doesn't make you better than anyone else or more pure than anyone else. It's a personal choice.

I think abstinence is silly because sexual compatability is important to me and it's weird to not know if you're sexually compatible before marriage. Especially since many times, you can't change or "grow" together in that area.

But that's just my opinion.

I waited until marriage because of religious beliefs. And because it was right for me.However when I was a teen I made a mistake, I thought I loved him and I thought he loved me. At first it was consenual but then I changed my mind but he forced me into it anyway. I hated myself for a long time and was to ashamed to tell my bishop but I eventually did he helped me through the healing process. Soon after I met my husband. I really wish I had waited for him, I really wish loosing   my virginity was a happy memory. I still to this day have intimacy issues and my husband is so wonderful and patient with me I wish it had been him.

Honestly, I used tot think it was for marriage, even asked my mom for a purity ring. Which thankfully she didn't cause I would have broke that promise. I'm not knocking people who believe that you should wait but I feel like its a personal choice with yourself and your beliefs. If you believe that you should wait due to religious obligations, please do so. But for someone like me it was more of a this feels right with me emotionally, and I trust the person I am doing this with.

Society puts so much pressure on women, but not the same pressure on men. Women are expected to stay virgins, but men aren't then who are the men sleeping with?

I think it's a personal choice and what ever you choose is just fine. As long as you're safe and smart about who you're having sex with, who is anyone else to judge?

Personally, I have only been with my husband, but that's because I got lucky. If we had broken up instead of getting married I would have slept with someone else eventually I'm sure. I was also in my mid-twenties at the time and old enough to handle all of the consequences of a sexual relationship.

I do believe in waiting till marriage because it's a beautiful thing  but unfortunately I didn't wait. I was with this guy for 5 years and thought he'd be the one but I was wrong and yes I do regret it because now I'm madly in love with my fiancé and wish I could have given it to him instead.
