Sons waking up with blood on bed.

So for the past 3 days my 2 year old son has woken up with blood on his bed, no cuts in his mouth and no traces of blood coming from nose. We went to the doctors and she said its most-likely from dry lips and try using a humidifier, my question is do you think this is to much blood for dry lips, should I get a second opinion?

It's directly under his face, no traces of blood from his nose, it seems to be coming from his mouth just thought it was but much for dry lips and he has no cuts or sores in his mouth.
