Trying to stay positive! No fetal pole yet

Had another ultrasound today. My hcg from saturday doubled from thursdays level. Saturdays was 3,323. The ultrasound today at first, showed a gestational sac, but no yolk. He thinks I am measuring at 5 weeks (3 weeks post conception) The doctor sent me over to hospital for a second ultrasound to rule out ANOTHER ectopic pregnancy. I was already tearing up, just waiting, preparing myself for bad news. GOOD NEWS, the tech was able to see the yolk that the doctor could not find.. so this is NOT a tubal pregnancy! However he would have liked to have seen fetal pole, and a heartbeat. Thinks I may just be slightly too soon to see it, wants another ultrasound in 10 days. If we see no fetal pole or heartbeat by then.. well.. lets just hope that does not happen. TRYING TO STAY POSITIVE!! -really just an emotional wreck 😟
