Help me understand the laproscopic procedure.

Kirsten
Finally met with reproductive endocrinologist yesterday. She determined my miscarriages were biochemical, and explained biochemical to me better than anyone else ever has. She also determined my ectopic was a month further along than I thought. So, ectopic on the left last year, and appendectomy on the right in 2010 have her worried my biochems are caused by scarring. So she's doing a laproscopic procedure in the next 2 weeks. If scarring, IVF. So here's my question: could she actually fix anything while she's in there, or is it really just to see what we're dealing with?? Can someone please share their similar experience??
