I came in to the hospital at 8:45 and was immediately registered and placed in my room. By 9:30 the dr examined me and I was 2cm and 70% effaced. They started me on pitocin at 10. We the 1st attempt at an epidural around 11:30 which didn't work. The anesthesiologist made an attempt to fix it at 12:45, which gave me a little relief. The doctor came back and broke my water at 1:58am I was only 3cm at this point. Of course my contractions were more intense and I had to have the anesthesiologist return for a 3rd attempt at this Epi around 3:20am. Finally I got some relief, everything was numb, I was able to get some sleep. The dr came examined me again at 5am I was 6cm was happy to see some progress. The whole team of Drs return at 8am I was 10cm but he didn't drop down completely but I delivered my sweet pea at 8:46 with just one push he's 8lbs 5oz on 2/15/16 I was 38wks exactly.
