Cervix High, Closed and Firm

I'm on cd 30 and I believe AF should arrive tomorrow, although Ovia said it should've came Saturday 10/18. I checked my cervix and it's nowhere near how it was last month the day before af. It was low hard and open. Today its high hard and closed. What could be going on? I just don't wanna buy a test and get my hopes up.
