Question to all u breastfeeding momma's??

My nipple is cracked from breastfeeding for 4days and I'm bleeding from that breast from where it is cracked is it safe to still feed my baby off that boob??

If u rub some of your breast milk on your nipples it will help heal them and help keep them from cracking more

Yes it's safe to continue breast feeding but if the latch is wrong it will only get worse. Contact a lactation consultant asap and be sure to use nipple cream/butter! The first few weeks are the hardest but it will get better!!

Baby may be latching wrong and that won't help it heal call the lactation consultant in ur hospital to ask what to do I'm sure it's fine to keep feeding mine bled a little a couple time cuz she didn't latch right and she unlached immediately and a few times spit up reddish brown I asked the ft and they said it was fine jus from me bleeding when she nursed

It's totally ok to keep breastfeeding. Try not to be freaked out if your Lo's stool is slightly tinged red, though.

I was in same boat last week. I still breast fed, but I used a shield. I also put some coconut nipple balm that I got from target in my nipple after each nurse / pump session. Nipples no longer look like I put them through a meat grinder.
