Make sure baby's active?

Question

How can I make sure baby will be active and not sleeping on Thursday when they do my anatomy scan? I want baby to be moving so we can hopefully have a better chance of finding out if it's a boy or girl. At our last ultrasound baby slept through it for the most part

The actual purpose of those scans are to get a ton of measurements and make sure baby is ok. If baby is moving too much, they won't be able to do the most important part of the scan.

Every time I drink juice, especially orange juice, & then sit or lay down, my daughter starts moving. Maybe get some orange juice on your way there & drink it before you go in.

When I had my anatomy scan they told me to eat something sugary or to drink a glass of orange juice 30 minutes before the appointment! My little girl moved around quite a bit! Just in case your baby isn't moving like they need I'd bring a treat for yourself to be safe lol :)

Mt anatomy scan is on Thursday as well! I am going to drink some orange juice before I leave my house and possibly bring some with me, just in case I have to wait a while before it's my turn to go in. I hope my little baby isn't shy and will show us their parts, I want to know SO badly!
