How many birth controls did you try

I was put on a combination pill due to some health problems with my reproductive cycle, and have since suffered from severe clinical depression. I suffered from depression a bit before the pill and it MAXIMIZED all my problems. Like I couldn't even get out of bed, ranging from severe anger, numbness, bawling, and panic attacks. My doctor has decided to remove me from the birth control and try a new one. I'm a little anxious about the change because it may take multiple try's to find the method for me.
