Getting back to normal after bc

How long does you're body take to get back into a normal cycle once stopping birth control me and my so want to try for a baby next year once our finances our in order and I'm just wondering how long to give my body before ttc how long before I try should I start taking pre natal vitamins it just seems so confusing also I have no idea how to track my bbt or my cervical mucus or even my cervix position is it too early for me to be thinking about all of this
