I started having contractions yesterday while I was at the hospital to get checked out because I started to lose my mucous plug. They weren't bad and when I got to the hospital my cervix was still closed and when they checked me two hours later I was 1cm dilated. Decided I wanted to go home and throughout the rest of the night my contractions got worse and more unbearable I couldn't even sleep. Came back to the hospital and I'm still only 1cm dilated and 30% effaced. Has this happened to anyone else before? I just can't see going through all this pain and having absolutely no progression
