No, I look down on people who live in huge houses that they can't afford.

I grew up in a mobile home, a pretty nice one I might add on tons of land out in the country on a farm...  and I had a few people who I thought was my friends growing up and when they would come over to my house for the first time they immediately said "YOU live in a trailer???" Like it was a bad thing.. One even said "my mom won't let me go in such things" that seriously pissed me off.. lol i think it's so stupid for someone to judge other people by the look of their home. A home and a home no matter if it's on wheels or on a concrete foundation

I don't think it matters where someone lives. What matters more is how you maintain your home from the inside. (Like if it's clean or super dirty)

It doesn't really matter where you live, it's about how you live. I know people who live in a nice trailer and are really clean. I also know people who live in a nice, big house but they're disgusting.

No I don't look down on those people. If I didn't live in tornado-ville I'd live in one on land in a heartbeat by paying cash for one and having minimal debt 👌🏻

There's definetly a stigma. More so among younger people. In highschool I was definitely considered white trash just because I lived in a trailer. In college there was still a certain attitude I can't quite describe. But into adulthood it seemed to stop. At least among all the people I associated with.

So having gone thru the stigma, I don't judge. Even if it's not a nice trailer. It's still a home, a place to live.

I would have done until I stayed in one, my great aunt lives in one in a retirement village, I didn't even know it was a trailer until I asked what would happen if there was a hurricane. She's made it beautiful, and she has a whale of a time, always driving around in her golf cart getting drunk and playing golf with all her friends
