Second Paraguard insertion, late period
So I have my first ParaGard insertion about three years ago and with that said everything was normal until I expelled it while using a menstrual cup.... I went to the doctor immediately cause I noticed longer string and could feel and so my doctor told me I was over thinking it but made an apt for an ultrasound a month later to make sure.... Sure enough I was right, the iud was out of place. Made an apt for another month from then, rarely had sex and if I did used condoms. On January 22nd I had my old iud removed and my new one put in.... I haven't had my verification ultrasound yet I have an apt for Friday the 19th. It is now February 17th and I am 3 days late for my period, I don't have any symptoms of pregnancy or of pms other than fatigue. I took a pregnancy test (the ones that claim to be able to tell 6 days before you miss your period) and got a negative. I'm freaking out and panicky.
I bled from insertion from the 22nd until February 7th or 8th so I've only been not bleeding for like a week. Is is possible that I did in fact have my period during that time?
Until Valentine's Day I have been using condoms and even then we pulled out. I have never had reason not to trust my iud until now and I'm just in a total panic about it. Please encourage me about this because I'm completely freaking out and idk what to even do. I usually have a 36 day cycle so this just is awful. I literally can't sleep at night because of it.
