Sweep membrane? Anyone had this done?

I'm 2 days over due and had my membrane swept today been having "mini contractions" since is this a side effect/false labor or will they get stronger is it working? Has anyone had it work or not work?

I had it done Friday and had BH contractions the whole rest of the day and that was it. Had it done again today and nothing happened. My due date is Friday.

I had mine it one day overdue.... I started getting menstrual like cramps then later on in the evening I had a very mild contractions… The next day I gave birth at 8 o'clock in the evening

I just had mine done yesterday. I had cramping all day and some light bleeding, but feel fine today. I guess baby just isn't ready. I'm 39 and 3 today and this is my first.
