Anyone here not want kids so fast?

I was looking at the 'wedding rings' pics and a lot of people who only been married a for a minute are already TTC! Am I the only one who wants to wait at least 10+ years? (Been married 2 1/2 years)

I've only been married 7 months and my husband and I didn't sleep together or live together before we were married. Our plan was to wait a couple years and I was VERY adamant about that because I love being married and just being together. But to both of our surprise we started to really want to be parents sooner than we had ever imagined. So we decided to try. We're a little older and want several kids. I think it's different for everyone.

I'm 25 and all of my friends are getting married and having kids immediately. My parents are talking about grand babies and everyone thinks I'm crazy because I'm more focused on my career and building a nice little nest egg!!! Once my bf and I get married we want to have at least a few years where it is just us and our dog!!!

I'm with youu!!! I like playing with family/friends kids but... when they start crying, puking, pooping etc. time to give it back. If I can't take it to Vegas, than I don't want it! Till I hit it big one of these days ???

My husband and I got married about a year ago and we want try at least wait 5 years before we even try. I mean, if it happens it happens but our goal is wait and enjoy just ourselves for as long as we can.

Well this app is more geared to people who are TTC. If you just want a period tracker, there are other apps that do just that :) but ya, most people on here are TTC no matter how long they have been together

We waited 3 years to get married and waited another 3 years before we had our son. Each person knows best when/if they are ready to have kids.

I say waiting 2-3 years is perfect. It gives you and your hd time to enjoy one another some more before all your priorities change

I just got married ten days ago - and we started TTC a month before our wedding :) we've been together over 5 years - and we are both dying to be parents- see no reason to wait for us. Everyone is different- I don't think there is a right or wrong option.
