Will be 41 when this baby is due.

Question

...and it scares me to death. So many things can go wrong. I'm 6w and this wasn't exactly planned. I had a +HPT 2 months before I was going to see my doc about going back on the pill! I need to get over it and focus on the road ahead. Anyone else 41 and scared?

I will be 40 when the baby arrives...i m scared sh@#$$/less..really scared... i m a first time mom since i  met my man at 36...but everything great so far☺..so im trying to keep positive.hugs 🙆🙆😙😙😙

I'm 38, and have some serious medical issues. Also, I haven't had a child in 15 years! We truly thought we were done with kids, very unplanned pregnancy (I wasn't on BC but thought all the medications {including chemo} had ravaged my body too much to get knocked up.) Not much we can do now except do our best to be healthy. You got this, girl. ☺

I am due in 2 days and am 40, almost 41, this is my first child. I was worried at first but my pregnancy has been wonderful. I wasn't sick, I have felt energetic and great. I have had no complications and baby is healthy.  The last month has been tiring but I hear that at any age it is tough.

I will also be 41 when this baby is due, God willing it will be a healthy baby carried to term. I am also scared out of my mind lol. I'm only a bit over 5 weeks just did hpt on Friday and yesterday and again today and I am still in shock. I was told at 35 that my chances of conceiving even with fertility drugs would be slim. I tried with my partner with drugs to get pregnant for over a year and nothing. I had decided to give up my dream of becoming a Mom. I didn't think it would be possible but here I am so nervous, scared and excited and hopeful that this may actually happen. Everything happens for a reason, it's a huge blessing and I am so grateful! Hang in there, we will be just fine!

I'm 38 with a 9 1/2 month old boy. I just found out this week that I'm due in August ! I'll be 39 when our second child arrives. I know that it can seem overwhelming and you wonder where you'll find the energy, but you find it. I feel that I have more patience than I would've when I was younger. And a better perspective on what is truly important. 
You will surprise yourself with how amazing at this you are going to be.

I will turn 40 when I give birth and yes I am scared and I pray everyday that my baby ok, I met my fiancé at 36 and we wanted one we are thrilled and hopeful

I will be 41 when my little surprise is due. I think I am 7 weeks. I have a 6 month old and two older boys  (14 and 12). I think I am still in shock. My 6 months old was a surprise so this baby is a shocker. Very worried. Had to have an emergency c-section last time. Was in hospital with HELLP syndrome for nine days before and delivered 5 weeks early. Hopefully all will go right this time.

I will be 39 when mine arrives. This wasn't planned & I didn't want children. My husband is thrilled & all I can muster is detached disinterest. I keep waiting for the excitement to kick in & feel like a freak that it hasn't. You're not alone & there are others that are terrified and older. Hopefully we can support each other it's good to know I'm not alone. I felt like the only older mother on this site who was freaked out.
